Part 1: Make no mistake, learning has changed. It is now more mobile,collaborative, online, blended, ubiquitous, massive, informal, open,video-based, and personal. It is also more flipped, gesture-based, global,modifiable, comfortable, shareable, and flexible. With many technologies,thousands of organizations and scholars are sharing their course materials,expertise, and teaching ideas globally, thereby expanding learningopportunities and resources even further. Abstract Part 2: As noted, there are dozens of new technologiesemerging each year and endless ways in which they can be used for teaching andlearning. Bonk will reveal dozens of practical examples using his widelyacclaimed R2D2 (Read, Reflect, Display, and Do) framework for instructionaldesign with technology. While detailing best practices he has seen around theglobe, Bonk will also discuss how his two methods can be expanded or altered tofit one’s particular preferences and needs. No matter what galaxy or planet youare on, these ideas and techniques can be linked student motivation,collaboration, interaction, and general engagement in the learning process…...

CurtisJ. Bonk是印第安那大學(xué)(Indiana University)教育學(xué)院教學(xué)系統(tǒng)技術(shù)系(Department of Instructional SystemsTechnology)與信息學(xué)院(School of Informatics)雙職教授,CourseShare創(chuàng)始人。他曾獲得印第安納大學(xué)信息技術(shù)協(xié)會(huì)授予的數(shù)字化新星獎(jiǎng),美國(guó)遠(yuǎn)程學(xué)習(xí)協(xié)會(huì)授予的最佳成就獎(jiǎng),印第安納州遠(yuǎn)程教育教學(xué)創(chuàng)新獎(jiǎng)等。
Bonk教授有著多方面的學(xué)術(shù)背景,是國(guó)際教育技術(shù)領(lǐng)域的知名學(xué)者。他具有豐富的工作經(jīng)歷和學(xué)術(shù)背景,常常能從交叉和創(chuàng)新的視角理解教育技術(shù)領(lǐng)域的問題。發(fā)表和編著了200多篇文章和圖書章節(jié),主題涵蓋了在線教育、大規(guī)模多人在線游戲、開源軟件、協(xié)作學(xué)習(xí)技術(shù),以及同步和異步計(jì)算機(jī)會(huì)議等。他的著作包括《電子協(xié)作者》(Electroniccollaborators)(1998)、《混合學(xué)習(xí)手冊(cè):全球化視野、本地化設(shè)計(jì)》(Handbook of Blended Learning:Global Perspectives ,Local Designs)(2006)、《授權(quán)在線學(xué)習(xí):關(guān)于閱讀、反思、展示和實(shí)踐的一百多個(gè)學(xué)習(xí)活動(dòng)》(Empowering OnlineLearning: 100+ Activities for Reading, Reflecting, Displaying, and Doing)(2008)、《世界是開放的:網(wǎng)絡(luò)技術(shù)是怎樣革新教育的》(The World is Open: HowWeb Technology is Revolutionizing Education)(2009)、《在線學(xué)習(xí)動(dòng)機(jī)與激勵(lì):TEC-VARIETY模型》(Adding SomeTEC-VARIETY: 100+ Activities for Motivating and Retaining Learners Online)(2014)、《MOOC和世界開放教育》(MOOCs and OpenEducation Around the World)(2015)。
